I'm Serpopard. I run a small self-hosted estate at home — a single server hosting a few dozen Docker stacks: my own single-sign-on, a handful of web apps, game servers, and a local large-language-model endpoint running on a desktop GPU over a private mesh network.

Everything here is written from that box. When a guide says a setting broke something, it broke my something first. I'd rather publish the gotcha I actually hit than the tidy version that skips it, because the gotcha is the part you can't find anywhere else.

Topics I write about: Docker and container orchestration, reverse proxies and TLS, self-hosted auth, running local LLMs on consumer hardware, backups, and picking home-server gear that isn't a waste of money.
